After the sad news on Sunday of the demise of the Completevca website, we have a very special announcement to make.
It’s an incredible honour to have spoken to Jen over many years and established a trust which meant not only did she choose to say goodbye to supporters of her website in our group – she also made an announcement.
Kindly, as stated in her message, Jennifer has agreed for us here at AtticSecrets to preserve her hard work in archives dedicated to the Completevca website.
We felt that it would be a crime to let years of hard work and research to just dissappear or to resurface at a later date without crediting Jennifer.
That is why we are compiling a section on this blog and eventually on the group entitled The Complete VCA Website archives where we will post the information exactly as it was on the original site. All copyright and credit is completely Jennifer s and anyone who else contributed to the various articles, of which there are many and The Complete VCA Website.
However, as AtticSecrets has always been about preserving Virginia s individual legacy and her Canon works, we made the decision to only include the information regarding Virginia and her first three series – The Dollangangers, The Casteels and My Sweet Audrina.
Therefore our archives will only include Ghostwritten book information that Jennifer provided in the form of Garden of Shadows, and the final three Casteel novels for continuity reasons.
The Complete VCA was literally for over two decades the only resource we had as fans to discover more about our favourite author and the passion that Jennifer had to gather as much information for us all is unparalleled. It was and always will be a beloved site and whilst I am saddened it is no longer with us I am honoured that Jennifer has placed her trust in AtticSecrets to keep it preserved.
Our archives won’t, unfortunately, match the beauty of her site and its design but it will be a safe space for the information and research gathered so far.
Naturally 26 years of information won’t be possible to upload overnight so I ask you to bear with me as I transfer as much as I possibly can
